HEY URSC!
Thanks to everyone who attended our Dive-In Movie and Welcome Back Foam Party. We have certainly started the year off right with plenty of fun and we're looking forward to an exciting semester!
If you are interested in joining the University Residential Student Community, you can get involved by running for a position in your building government. Ask your RA about the schedule of info sessions and elections in your building. Here are the URSC positions you could hold:
- Building Government Chair - Lead your BG as president.
- Advocacy Representative - Meet with key administrators to advocate for changes students want.
- Funding Representative - Review applications and distribute funds to programs put on for the residential community.
- Programming Representative - Orchestrate huge events open to the entire student body.
URSC meets every Wednesday night at 6:30pm and there is also a mandatory (and fun!) retreat from September 11-13 for all newly elected URSC members. URSC is a great organization to join to develop as a leader, make changes on campus, and foster community in your residence hall. If you have any questions, please email us at ursc@usc.edu.
