Dive-In Movie

The Dive-in Movie is a traditional Welcome Week event, open to all students. Everyone is welcome to come to the McDonald’s Swim Stadium at the Lyon Center to watch a movie on the big screen. Past feature films include Pirates of the Caribbean, Casino Royale, and Ocean’s Thirteen. So grab a pool noodle, sit/float back, and enjoy the movie! |

Welcome Back Dance

The Welcome Back Dance is a traditional Welcome Week event held on McCarthy Quad. All students are welcome to come dance the night away! This past year, we brought a foam party to the event with a DJ and large foam pit courtesy of Foamalicious. |

Battle of the Cans

Battle of the Cans is a philanthropic event. URSC hosts a battle of the bands concert featuring the best local bands and you donate nonperishable food items in order to vote for your favorite band. The residence hall that brings in the most cans wins a special prize! The winner of the Battle of the Cans will perform at Save Tommy Nite. |

Save Tommy Nite

Save Tommy Nite is a huge carnival event held the night before the USC vs UCLA game along Trousdale Parkway. Join URSC for free food, carnival games, booths, a concert, entertainment from various campus groups, and big toys (such as a moon bounce, mechanical bull ride, etc.). Come save Tommy from the Bruins! |

Final Fling

Final Fling is a huge carnival held by URSC on McCarthy Quad on the last day of classes! There will be water slides, free food, BG-sponsored booths, and a DJ. Come soak up the sun and get soaked on a water slide with URSC! |
